Razor wire, also called Barbed tape, is a more aggressive and better intruder deterrent for elevations above fencing. The multiple blades of a razor wire fence are designed to inflict serious cuts on anyone attempting to  climb through and therefore have a strong psychological  deterrent effect.  Razor wire usually contains a core hardened steel strip that is often under tension, so if cut, the recoil could cause the wire to unfurl and lash out, striking the cutter.



According to the install form, razor wire can be divided into:  concertina , flat wrapped, wall spike,  stright, and welded razor mesh. The  concertina spiral razor wire is made of 0.5mm thick hot-galvanized steel sheet and 2.5mm thick high-carbon galvanized wire. It is usually apply in government facilities, prison, military zones to  provide a good deterrent.  Flat razor wire is designed to protect facilities in urban areas and it press the single loop razor wire netting into a flat board. Wall spike is fabricated from steel sheet and it has low costs, easy installation, high protective ability, beautiful and not rust  feature.  Straight razor wire is made of 0.5mm thick hot-galvanized steel sheet and 2.5mm-thick high-carbon galvanized so they can easy to install and protect wire from corrosion. Welded razor mesh also fabricated from high tensile core wire that it is impossible to climb so you can save more money because you need not to install added razor wire.
