There are no reported injuries in the Queens fire that broke out around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, New York Fire Department spokesman Jim Long says. Fire officials say nearly 140 firefighters and emergency workers are battling a 3-alarm blaze inside a New York City warehouse.
Images of the fire show big billows of black smoke rising above railyards adjacent to the burning building in the borough’s Sunnyside neighborhood. Long says all firefighters have pulled out from the building and have taken a defensive position, fighting it from the outside, and 33 units have responded along with 138 firefighters and EMS workers.
When we face emergency accident, Keep calm and avoid needless casualties. The government should be more timely action to solve problems. And the rapid deployment barrier system is designed to provide rapid protection and can minimize casualties. And this barrier also can contain riots and control crowds non-aggressively.
