As we all know,galvanized wire，PVC plastic coated wire and stainless steel wire,all of which can be used to produce wire mesh.But did you know the differences among these wire in detail?

We can find the first difference is the material difference according to the name. They were made of galvanize,polyethylene and stainless steel respectively.and then,owing to the material difference,their durability will also be different. Whether in Corrosion-resistant strength,Antioxidant strength,or Tensile strength.when compared with each other,you will find that the stainless steel wire is the strongest,especially in tensile aspect. Followed by galvanized wire and   PVC plastic coated wire.because of these differences,the PVC plastic coated wire’s price is the lowest,and the price of stainless steel wire is much higher. Another obvious difference is the color,galvanized wire was coated with zinc on the surface,so it is white;PVC plastic coated wire was wrapped by the polyethylene,so its color would be various,and the most common color is green;as for the stainless steel wire,there is no doubt that it is black and a little bright. 

  I mentioned the durability just now,sometimes,even the two products belong to one type,there are still many difference. For example,the galvanized wire,it could be electro galvanized wire or hot-dipped galvanized wire. The zinc coating of hot-dipped galvanized wire is thicker than the electro galvanized wire. So the hot-dipped galvanized wire will be stronger,it usually can be used for 20 years.
