A small fire has forced the evacuation of the Australian team's building in the Rio Olympics athletes' village.  The fire broke out in rubbish in the underground carpark of the building about 4.40pm Friday local time, the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) said in a statement.

All athletes and staff were evacuated and are fine. It follows Australian officials declaring the team building unsafe to live in until repairs were undertaken earlier this week. Australian Chef de Mission Kitty Chiller said the building had blocked toilets, leaking pipes, exposed wiring, unlit stairwells and dirty floors. All athletes were safely evacuated and are now back in the building.

Near the Olympic opening ceremony date,  Rio security problem is still not optimistic.
